Yeah they were very keyed in on small bait during the WCC/YAB tournament there a few weeks ago. One of these days I'll just crush it out there, but it's been very hit or miss for me there. Hope to see you out there in tournaments, it's been a fun 2 years for me doing it!

I've seen the sun shades, have you tried them? Just curious if they actually help. I need to put a tether on my next pair of sunglasses, fortunately they were just a cheap pair and not prescription, but I'd love to get a pair of prescription polarized glasses.

Thanks! This is the 120. I have a 106 as well, but mainly fish out of the 120. The net is linked in the description, just one I got off amazon and added a piece of PVC to the handle to make it longer.

@@BookmanBassin it’s a plate from Navarre Kayak that screws into the shallow anchor mount on the kayak, then I just screwed a piece of yakattack tract to the plate.

@@DoubleBogeyBass hopefully you have a truck or trailer. I was looking at 12ft kayaks, and I was like no way. Too heavy, where and I going to put it. Heck I could barely lift them.

It has been a rough couple years for the Giants 😕. The net is linked in the description, it's a ForEverlast floating net, but I have added an extension of PVC and just wrapped it in orange gorilla tape, and on the end used some duct tape that has the Giants logo on it 😀

Striper do not count for the tournament. Not sure why somehow hasn’t done a Striper only kayak tournament though 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Definitely a numbers day, just not a quality day.

Great job keeping that mental attitude while losing some solid fish. Since you don’t mention it he Peddles and paddles ONLY while 95% of us have motors. Way to go Jeremy!

@@timgeary6461 thanks Tim! I don’t mind the wacky rig, I use it often, it’s the drop shot I hate 🤣. I know that technique catches them too, I just only use it as a last resort. I will have to at least give this guy in the bass boat credit, he allowed me to fish the area first, which I’ve had several guys not give any respect to me and just come in and fish on top of me. But I’ve had kayak fishermen do the same too 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Thanks Dug! I should have posted some video of the water on my pre-fish day, because this area was "clear" compared to that. So much slime on the water it was clogging up the guides and turning my line green 😧

Fun fact it’s called Clear Lake for the clear skies/air not the water.

Glad to help. I have actually updated the way I store the measuring board. It's still in the same spot but I am using a product from YakGadget now, and I really like it. It's an always evolving system with the kayak organization 😂

@@DoubleBogeyBass thanks brotha unfortunately my tournament day GoPro wouldn’t read my sd card while waiting to launch in the parking lot that morning. So it will be just a quick recap few minutes from that weeks practice but it’s honestly identical to tourney day. Definitely definitely bummed about it messing up ended up buying another GoPro for backup and and another sd card

@@channel2drew983 totally understand the issues with GoPro. I have a love/hate relationship with them. That’s why I run 2 cameras, so at least one should capture something, but even then I’ve had issues 🤣😂.
